Thanks to you, the Ausome Ottawa Launch Party was a big success!
In one evening, you made it possible for Ausome Ottawa to raise $5,000. Derek and I will match that number with a donation of $5,000, bringing our grand total to a very respectable $10,000 raised at this event!
These numbers do not include sales of The Ausome Bracelet and Necklace which are ongoing. Do you have yours yet?
We have also not included individual contributions or pledges received to-date.
What does this mean?
It means that Ausome Ottawa is off to a great start. We have already incorporated as a non-profit and now have the funds to apply for charitable registration. We can purchase supplies for our 2016 events, and we can pay our autism behaviour specialists for about six months worth of events.
What do we still need?
- $$: Like any non-profit, we will always need more funds. Find out how to make an ongoing affordable monthly sponsor-a-child contribution by sending me a message – more to come on the website in the coming months…
- T-shirt sponsors: In 2016, we anticipate needing about 300 custom printed t-shirts for our Team AUSOME volunteers and program participants. Would you or your business like to be prominently featured on the t-shirt in exchange for a contribution to the printing? If so, let me know. If not, pass this message on to a friend who just might!
- Volunteers: We have all kinds of opportunities available, both program/event- related, as well home-based administrative, marketing and social media management roles.
We look forward to seeing you at our 2016 events, keeping in touch with you by email or telephone, and/or hearing how you can support or benefit from Ausome Ottawa.
