Participants must be at a Grade 1 / Grade 2 level. They must be able to clearly communicate their wants and needs, be toilet trained, able work at a table for 20 minutes, and not typically aggressive in new situations.
Program runs Mondays evenings November 20th, 27th, December 4th, 11th & 18th at The Police Foundations gym at Algonquin College. Group 1 5:15-6:00 PM Group 2 6:15 - 7:00 PM.

Ausome Ottawa is happy to partner with Algonquin College and Paediatric Physio and Occupational Therapy again to offer an exciting therapeutic group program to children on the spectrum. This four week program, running on Monday evenings, will focus on the development of skills in the areas of sensory-motor, self-regulation, social interaction, and play. Children will be paired with Algonquin Occupational Therapy Assistant student and supervised by occupational therapist and members of the Ausome Ottawa team. This service will be delivered at no cost to you. Come and be a part of this exciting endeavor!

This program will be supervised by the Ausome staff and Amanda Dresch, Occupational Therapist. Volunteers will be supplied by Algonquin College's Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy Assistant program.
If you haven't already done so, please fill out the guardian/ child profile found HERE, before you register for the Fine Motor program. You child will not be able to participate without the profile.
