Trot or Treat for Ausome

When we started the first Ausome basketball “try-it” program three and a half years ago, we had no idea it would grow into year-round sport and recreation activities, camps and training programs. As a community-driven organization, we are solely funded by people like you. 

Together we have accomplished so much! 

Our Ausome athletes now dribble soccer balls, make big waves at water-polo, bundle up to cross-country ski, fly high in gymnastics and so much more. Our needs have grown along with our program offerings. With some programs filling up in as little as two minutes, we continue to see wait-lists and the need for extra program spaces and staff. We also see a growing demand from community groups for the autism training we offer.

At the same time as demand for our programs is growing, government cut-backs and uncertainties are affecting our autism community and their access to resources. For many, Ausome programs are the only thing that is accessible, given the financial obstacles they face. Increasing financial support to Ausome has never been more essential to meet the needs of our families.
