This program is great for beginners and skilled soccer enthusiasts! Ausome athletes will be led through the basics and help them improve their skills over course of the program. Participants will start with a warm-up to get their muscles ready to run, dribble, kick and score goals! Once the warm-up is complete, they will practice some fun and engaging drills. Drills can be as easy or as difficult as needed for each child.
Ausome is reverting back to its pre-COVID level approach for athletes. In order for athletes to benefit the most from Ausome programs, they will be placed in a group that is most appropriate for their skill level. Please carefully read the descriptions below and select the level that is MOST APPROPRIATE for your child.
LEVEL 1 is intended for beginner soccer players who are new to sports or new to soccer. The sessions will focus on improving gross motor skills and learning the fundamentals of soccer — dribbling, passing and shooting. Sessions will focus on skill development rather than gameplay & strategy.
LEVEL 2 is great for intermediate soccer players who have had exposure to sports and can already manage the basics of soccer. Sessions will focus on building skills through more complex drills and learning how to incorporate skills into gameplay. Athletes must be able to run, kick and dribble the ball independently in order to register for Level 2.
Participants will be placed in groups based on level selection in registration. We cannot guarantee any group requests, so please make sure you are available to attend all timeslots.
