Joshua Shmizu—May 2022 Volunteer of the Month

Joshua has joined us at Ausome Basketball, Soccer, Virtual NIA and Gymnastics. Having grown up playing competitive hockey and doing community service with his team, he was inspired to get involved and help others learn through sport. Funny and outgoing, Joshua is always up to the task and is amazing at supporting our athletes one-on-one. His fave Ausome memory? When everyone played their first game at Ausome Basketball and no one missed a shot! When Joshua is not volunteering, you can find him playing sports and hanging out with his friends. In the future, he aspires to become a teacher.
