Rudi Jia—November 2023 Volunteer of the Month
Meet Rudi, Ausome’s Volunteer of the Month! After hearing about Ausome from another volunteer, Rudi was inspired to join because of her passion for inclusive sports. Funny and observant, she loves learning about the diverse ways children on the spectrum communicate.
Her fave Ausome memory? Watching the first Ausome athlete she was paired with going from sitting out of activities to running around and enjoying himself with other children. When not volunteering, Rudi enjoys listening to music, watching soccer games, and learning French. Her favourite quote: “There is only one heroism in the world: to see the world as it is, and to love it.” She also aspires to be a speech pathologist in the future!
