Change of Seasons: A personal update

An important message from Liisa Vexler, Ausome Executive Director and Co-Founder:

It is with a mixture of regret and excitement that I announce my resignation as Executive Director of Ausome at the end of this year.

These last five years have afforded me the opportunity to do the best work of my life—work of which I am infinitely proud. I feel comfortable and confident to be leaving the organization with a dedicated and cohesive staff, a strong and caring Board of Directors, and a community of members, volunteers and supporters that continues to surprise me with their heart every single day.

I also know that Ausome has so far weathered this uncertain economic and public health storm better than most organizations of the same size and scope, and I can hand it off to its next leader with confidence. This means that you will continue to see Ausome’s familiar faces running sport programs, planning events and advocating for our community, as you do now.

I look forward to continuing to be part of Ausome as a supporter and volunteer long into the future. There is still much work to do. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you, my Ausome Community.
