Galaxy of Stars Art Auction

Calling all artists!

Budding and experienced artists of all ages: Ausome needs YOU! On the eve of Nov 2nd, at Lago, we will be auctioning off your generously donated works of art as part of our 3rd Anniversary All-Star Celebration. All proceeds go directly to funding programs that get kids with autism in the game. 6" x 6" wooden canvasses are available for pickup at our House of Sport (RA Centre) office.

Ausome Galaxy of Stars Submission Guidelines

All submissions must be received by October 26, 2018. (To have your work in the online auction, pls. provide a photo of your artwork to liisavexler@ausomeottawa.com)

All participating artists will have the option to either:

  1. Receive a charitable tax receipt for 100% of the estimated value (as determined by sales receipts or an independent appraisal if in excess of $1000).

OR

  1. A consignment payment of 25% of the selling price of the piece at auction if over $100.

Artistic theme: A Star

Size and shape: For the main gallery of the auction, we suggest square-shaped 6” x 6” works and can provide you with a wood panel of this size by request. If you prefer to provide a larger item, we will gladly include it.

Your artwork will appear:

• In an online auction gallery

• At the main event on November 2nd at Lago, Dow’s Lake Pavillion

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  1. Short bio (max 100 words)
  2. Original pieces, no copies or prints please
  3. Signed

PLEASE PROVIDE

  1. Your name
  2. Digital photo of your submission (JPG)
  3. Label Information: Your name as you would like it to appear, the title of your work, the medium (example: Oil on Canvas, Collage on Board, Mixed Media, Photography, etc.), the dimensions (in inches)
  4. Reserve bid requirement (the minimum price)
  5. Fair Market price (Buy-It-Now price)
